Marketing Strategy Consultancy

The first stage in building a Marketing Strategy is an Audit of your current marketing efforts.  The Audit covers how your company uses the following marketing media:

The Marketing Audit Report details our recommendations listed in priority order along with the full cost of implementation.

Alterra will then fulfill part or all of the tasks as a one-off contract or act as your marketing team on a retained basis.  We work with a team of graphic designers, web designers, photographers and videographers and arrange all the printing for you.

Marketing Strategy Workshop

There is no doubt that companies who plan are better placed than their competitors.  But finding the time to take a step back and review how well your business is performing against the targets set in our business plan is not easy when the demands on time and budget focus attention on the day to day routine.

At Alterra, we focus on helping our clients increase their revenue by gaining more customers or clients by increasing prices where possible, introducing new streams of income and by selling a wider range of products to existing customers.  Tackling all these changes at once is typically too much to contemplate.  Having a well-thought-out plan with realistic goals that are achievable over a number of months will pay dividends.

Our training session on Marketing Strategy is a practical workshop where each attendee creates their own Marketing Action Plan, which they can put into practice right away.

The starting point is a Marketing Audit, which looks in detail at the current marketing activities businesses are carrying out – from printed material, networking, referral and recommendations marketing, online marketing, advertising and PR. 

We examine the 4 Ps – product, price, place and promotion and analyse changes which can be made to give the greatest return on investment.

Worksheets, practical activities and group discussions are some of the methods we use to make this session really valuable.  You will complete the session with a detailed plan drawn up on the SMART principles.
